Description

The Doberlug-Kirchhain lower station is located on the double-track electrified main line of the 6345 Cottbus - Halle (Saale) line.
The aim of the construction measure is to replace the existing signalling systems (mechanical, unit design) with an electronic signal box (ESTW). The signal box will be built in modular construction. The new interlocking (ESTW-A) will be operated from the existing sub-centre in Finsterwalde (ESTW-Z).
In connection with the construction work, the two level crossing facilities on the L60 will be converted. The facilities will be equipped with full barriers and one danger area monitoring system each.

The renewal of the control and safety technology and the related measures to be planned include in detail:

  • Reconstruction area approx. 15 km
  • New construction of an electronic interlocking of the SIMIS D type
  • Adaptation of the signalling system ESTW-Z Finsterwalde
  • Signal adaptation ESTW-A BDKO (Doberlug-Kirchhain station, upper station of the Berlin - Dresden line)
  • Train number signalling system
  • Modification of 2 technically secured level crossings in several construction stages
  • Adaptation of the electronic equipment as follows:
  • Adaptation of the feed of the ESTW-A
  • Installation of track field lighting
  • Adaptation of the point heating stations
  • Adaptation of the overhead line systems
